Needs Analysis & Learning Strategy

The diagnosis that comes before any content: what the real gap is, and the strategy to close it.

What it is

A needs analysis and learning strategy document that diagnoses performance gaps and defines a targeted, business-aligned learning approach. This example was built for a new-manager leadership programme.

Why, when, and what it solves

Why I created it

Organisations often promote strong performers into management without structured support, then wonder why teams struggle. This starts by understanding the gap before designing anything.

When to use it

At the front end of a learning project, before any content is created.

The problem it solves

It tackles new managers’ struggles with difficult conversations, delegation and decision making, reducing errors, escalations and turnover by designing from evidence rather than assumption.
