Remote Work Policy
A clear policy for how remote and hybrid work operates in practice.
What it is
A remote work policy setting out expectations, availability, communication and accountability for people working outside a shared office.
Why, when, and what it solves
Why I created it
Remote work fails quietly when expectations are unspoken. This makes them explicit, so distance does not become disorder.
When to use it
When introducing or formalising remote or hybrid working, and during onboarding for remote staff.
The problem it solves
It gives remote teams and their managers a shared, fair set of rules, protecting both productivity and trust.
